Mateusz M. If you have never heard of him before, I’m glad I get to familiarize you with him. He’s a dude from Poland who runs a very successful not-for-profit YouTube channel with over 170 million views on his videos and over 800k subscribers. His videos are super passionate, brilliant, creative and really captivating. He uses voices by some of the best motivational speakers like Les Brown, Eric Thomas, and even actor, Will Smith.
I like to listen to his videos when I’m feeling stagnant and need to remind myself that I need to get off my ass, get things done, and make an impact. Or when I’m about to die on the treadmill and need that extra willpower and motivation to get going.
Why Motivational Videos?
Desire. Resiliency. Vision. Persistence. Purpose. Passion.
It’s not always easy having to go at it and give it your 100% and beyond every. single. day. Just a reminder that someone else is going at it as hard or even harder than you can propel you to get off the couch or get off social media and do work that’s meaningful.
Here are some videos that have helped gotten me out of a rut and in high gear in no time… specifically under 7 minutes:
This video is about getting clear on your why. Why are you doing what you’re doing? Why do you want what you want? Why does it mean so much to you? Why would you keep going after you fail more times than you’d be willing to admit? Every growth intensive book I have read has focused on clearly defining what our burning desire is. Something that you want SO damn bad that you become unstoppable.
You ever had those moments where you already know what you wanna achieve but the doubts linger? How about when you don’t know if you have the necessary skills and talents to manifest what you want? It gets tricky, too, because even if you’re confident, sometimes what you want and the things you wanna achieve are SO big that you don’t know HOW you’re going to do it. This video gets me out of that doubt and gets me believing that I, too, can be great. As the video says, it’s time to test my art and to test my limits… because I AM A CHAMPION! I hope this video fires you up too! (I gotta say this. Don’t mind the grammatical and spelling errors in the video >_<)
This one starts with a part of Steve Jobs’ commencement speech at Stanford University back in 2005. It resonates with me because it took me 4 years to finally pursue what I have been wanting to pursue and, it’s true, it never really is too late to become what you might have been. This video powerfully addresses excuses and getting rid of them if you wanna achieve your goals.
“If you’re going to try, go all the way.” This video is great when you feeling like you’re imposing limitations on yourself. Big dreams require big actions and it’s a great reminder to do what you have to do and not cheat yourself out of the necessary actions to do what you need get done.
